Gary Wolf

AIA, NCARB, LEED AP | PRINCIPAL

Gary was born in Palmer and grew up exploring the beautiful landscapes of Alaska.  A love of drawing and design led him to a career in Architecture. He attended Montana State University, receiving a master’s degree in architecture.  Returning to Alaska, Gary founded Wolf Architecture in his hometown so he could give back to his community and support himself while pursuing his outdoor passions of backcountry exploration.

Architecture provides Gary a creative outlet with the ability to actively contribute to Alaskan communities. He finds a great deal of fulfillment in helping clients create great places to live, gather, and experience.

As a lifelong Alaskan with 35 years of Alaskan practice, Gary has the optimism and design sensibilities needed for project success. Since founding Wolf Architecture, Inc. in 2000, Gary has been responsible for the design of over 1.7 million square feet of commercial design throughout the State.

Gary prefers a client centered design process with an emphasis on understanding and meeting project goals and aspirations. This design methodology focuses on creating a solution that is functional, fits within the budgetary parameters, and is thoughtful aesthetically.  He has good listening skills, is imaginative, and is a creative problem solver. Rarely settling for the status quo, Gary is interested in finding a design solution that exceeds expectations.
